Return to civilisation...

I have been staying with my Mum in Filey, a little seaside town in Yorkshire.

Unfortunately this meant I just spent a week without internet.

I'm still traumatised.

I hope to recover from the shock of living in the dark ages (seriously I had forgotten how hard it is to write an essay without google!) and get back to blogging soon.

In the meantime here is a picture of Filey I took last summer when the weather was better!

  1. It's always a strange feeling to be without internet access for a longer period of time. During the holidays I usually miss it a lot at first, but then I get used to it and actually like to have more time on my hands as a result. :) I guess it's good to have a break from it now and then.
    Wow, Filey looks beautiful!

  2. Yeah it was nice to have the extra time in my day; maybe I'd have gotten used to it after a couple of weeks!

I did make me listen to some old music I'd forgotten I liked (because that was on my laptop and stuff I've more recently gotten into was either on spotify or vinyl at home!) and have long text conversations with friends, so it wasn't all bad!
